1. General

1.1 SHM offers products for sale on and its e-commerce business service is available exclusively to its end users ("customer"). 

1.2 “Customer” shall mean any individual who is acting for purposes which are outside his or her trade, business or profession. If you are not a Consumer, please do not buy any products on

1.4 These General Terms and Conditions of Sale exclusively regulate the offer, transmission and acceptance of purchase orders relating to products on  between customer and SHM.

2. How to Execute a Contract with SHM

2.1 The presentation of products on does not constitute any offer by SHM for a purchase contract.

2.2 By submitting the order form provided on to SHM you are placing a binding offer for a purchase contract with SHM. You submit an offer by entering all required information during the ordering process and posting the order form to us by using the button “PLACE ORDER”. Before you submit your offer, you will be able to view the details input by you and correct any mistakes in the information provided.

2.3 The order form, which appears immediately prior to the conclusion of the purchase contract, provides you with brief information regarding the essential features of each product ordered, the price (including all applicable taxes or fees) and the shipping costs.  An order shall be deemed submitted when SHM receives your order form electronically and the order's information has been verified as correct. 

2.4 When transmitting the order form, you will be advised that forwarding the order constitutes an obligation to pay the price indicated. The order form will be filed in our data base for the time required to process your order and as provided by law. You may access your order form by clicking on the section called My Order in the Customer Account area. 

2.5 After your order form has been submitted, SHM will process your order. 

2.6 If the order form has been sent and the price has been paid for items that are no longer available, SHM will refund the amount paid for those items, within 7 days from the day following the order received by SHM, and the contract between the parties will be deemed to have been terminated.

2.7 By submitting an order form to SHM, you unconditionally accept and undertake to observe the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in your contract with SHM. Should you not agree with certain provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, please do not submit your order form for the purchase of products on 

2.8 On receipt of your order SHM will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (order confirmation). Please note that SHM order confirmation does not constitute a declaration of acceptance of your contractual offer but serves for information purposes only.

2.9 A purchase contract between you and will become effective only after the SHM's Vendors have accepted the offer by dispatching the goods ordered. The goods will be dispatched only after the full amount has been credited to SHM account.  

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 You may repeal your contract of purchase within 14 days without having to state reasons.The allocated cancellation timeframe is 14 days, effective the day that you or an assigned third party took said commodities into their possession.

4. Product quality and guarantee

4.1 On, SHM offers for sale carefully selected quality products, mostly Made in Italy, coming from selected Vendors.

4.2 The main characteristics of products are shown ad detailed on on each product page.  Please note that the pictures and colors of the products shown may appear different from the real ones for reasons connected with internet  browser or your device monitor used. It is understood that in such cases any discrepancies found can not be understood as a defect of conformity of the ordered product.

4.4 Prices may be subject to change during the season. Check the final price of sale before sending the relevant order form. 

4.5 If you have ordered several items at the same time, the products may be delivered by different Vendors at different times. Shipping costs are always included in the Order as detailed.

4.6 Should you decide to exercise your right to return purchased products, SHM has the right to not accept returned products or to not fully refund the amounts paid for purchased products that are returned without the corresponding tag or seal or that have been altered from their original status or damaged, as is more extensively clarified under Refund section in Shipping & Returns policy available here 

5. Payment

5.1 Payment of the product prices and relevant costs for shipping and delivery must be made by choosing one of the payment methods indicated on the order form or in the section Payment Methods present in Customer Service Area on homepage. Applicable VAT, taxes and levies are already included in the total prices indicated in the confirmation phase of the purchase order.

5.2 In case of payment by credit /debit card, all details (for example: card number expiration date, security code, etc.) will be sent automatically and by a secure protocol to the bank responsible for providing remote payment services, taking care to prevent any abusive or unauthorized access by third parties.

5.3 Such details will not be used by SHM except for performing the procedure relevant to your purchase or issuing refunds in the case of returns, in compliance with the exercise of your return right or for reporting cases of fraud to the police. The price for the purchase of products and the relevant costs for shipping and delivery, as indicated in the order form, will be charged to your current account when the order is actually made. 

5.4 SHM also reserves the possibility of blocking the order or shipping in case of suspicious transaction. In this case, SHM will contact you to ensure the regularity of the transaction and give way to the transaction. In case of activation of this security procedure the delivery date of the ordered products may be higher than originally expected.

Claims based on defects in the delivered goods shall be governed by the applicable legal provisions, to the exception that any claims for damages relating to defects shall be subject exclusively to article below.

10. Liability

10.1 SHM  Vendors’ accept limited liability for damage or negligence on “essential obligations” only, with a maximum liability equivalent to the order amount. SHM's liability for breaches by ordinary negligence of any major obligations or secondary obligations whose breach puts the achievement of the contractual purpose at risk or whose fulfilment is essential to the due and proper performance of the contract and whose fulfilment customer could reasonably rely upon (“essential obligation”), shall be limited to foreseeable damage characteristic for the contract. SHM accepts no liability for any breach by ordinary negligence of contractual obligations which are not essential obligations.

10.2 Any exclusion or limitation of the liability of SHM shall extend also to the personal liability of its owner/s, employees, members of staff, representatives, Vendors.

11. Governing law 

11.1 These Terms & Conditions are regulated and must be interpreted in accordance with Italian law. Any dispute, even of a non-contractual nature, deriving from this Terms & Conditions and herein mentioned documents, related to or connected to it, shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Milan court.

11.2 All orders placed by customer via as well as SHM's deliveries and services are governed exclusively by the General Terms and Conditions of Sale set out in this page, as applicable at the time the order is placed. SHM does not accept any diverging terms and conditions from the customer except where specifically agreed in writing.  Please note that The European Commission provides a platform for the out-of-court resolution of disputes  available on , but by purchasing on you accept not to enter into dispute resolution proceedings before the consumer arbitration board and previous article 11.1 will apply.

11.3 If any provision is invalid, nothing in this shall prejudice the validity of the remaining provisions hereof. If one or more of the terms of the policies published on the Section Customer Service on are invalid and / or ineffective for any cause, the remaining clauses of the policy  will be valid and effective, considering the invalid and / or ineffective clauses as ever included and provided in the policy.
